PRIVACY POLICY – Bank Passbook Statement on SMS

1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is issued by AcRo BiTes (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and governs the data practices of the mobile application Bank Passbook Statement on SMS (“App”).

The App helps users organize and review banking transaction SMS messages already available on their device. It provides a convenient way to view balance information, mini statements, transaction history, and passbook-style summaries generated from supported banking SMS alerts.

Key features include:

• SMS Passbook & Statements – View banking SMS alerts in a structured passbook format.
• Balance Information – Check account balance details available in transaction SMS messages.
• Transaction History – Review debit and credit transaction records from supported SMS alerts.
• PDF Statement Export – Generate statement reports for personal reference.
• Financial Calculators – Access EMI, SIP, FD, GST, and loan planning calculators.
• Banking Utilities – Find IFSC codes, ATM locations, bank holidays, and other banking information.
• Transaction Reminders – Receive optional reminders and summaries based on SMS activity.

The App operates independently and does not connect to bank servers, banking APIs, internet banking systems, payment gateways, or financial institutions. All SMS processing takes place locally on the user's device.

2. OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT

• We do not collect or upload your banking or SMS data to any server.
• All SMS analysis and processing occur locally on your device.
• We do not have access to your bank account details, OTPs, passwords, or personal identifiers.
• Minimal, non-sensitive technical data may be collected for analytics and advertising purposes.

7. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION

All SMS data is processed and stored on your device. We never upload or transmit your financial information. Our partners (AdMob, Firebase, etc.) may retain anonymous technical data per their own retention policies. Industry-standard encryption is used for sensitive on-device operations.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your anonymous technical and usage data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence (e.g., the United States) where our analytics and advertising partners operate.

9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES

• Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising: You can reset or limit ad tracking via your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• Permissions Control: You can revoke SMS or network permissions anytime in your device settings.
• Formal Rights Requests: Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, or deletion of technical data associated with you.

10. JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC PROVISIONS

EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, or port your data, and lodge complaints with supervisory authorities.

California (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal data is collected and to delete it. Our advertising SDKs may be considered “data sharing.” You may opt out by resetting your Advertising ID.

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our App is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy periodically. If material changes are made, we will provide notice within the App or on our Play Store listing.
